It is with sadness that the passing of Kathleen Bauer (Chicopee, Massachusetts) is shared. Kathleen, born on August 22, 1944, passed away on June 15, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Kathleen will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Kathleen by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Kathleen is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Kathleen’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Mahar and Pearl Mahar (Sherman); her husband Christian Bauer; and her brothers, Fred Mahar, Richard Mahar and Gary Maher.
She is survived by: her children, Christian E. Bauer of Enfield, CT, Cheryl M. Smith (Mark) of Springfield and Patricia K. Anderson (Robert) of Chicopee; and her brother David Mahar of Chicopee. She is also survived by six grandchildren, many beloved great grandchildren along with many extended family members and friends.
