He was predeceased by: his mother Mary K. Sacenti (Turmel); and his uncles, Peter Turmel and Paul Lefebvre. He is survived by: his father Edward J. Thompson; his aunts and uncles, Robert V. Thompson (Carole), Paul Turmel (Barbara), Karen Turmel, Rose Carter (Bruce) and June Lefebvre; and his cousin Bart Thompson.
