We are sad to announce that, on May 3, 2025, at the age of 76, Laura Barber of Chicopee, Massachusetts, born in Springfield, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Laura is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Laura's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her son Robert C. Barber; and her fiancé Raymond Couture. She is survived by: her son Thomas E. Barber of Chicopee; and her siblings, Richard Dagesse of Holyoke, Anthony J. Dagesse of Agawam, Rosemary White of West Springfield and Terese Cataldo of West Springfield. She is also survived by five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and three nieces and two nephews.
