He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis A. and Mary L. Lajeunesse (Rivest); and his significant other Angeline M. Lajeunesse (Czerkiewicz). He is survived by: his children, Beverly J. Nowak of Chicopee, Alan Lajeunesse (Milé) of West Springfield, David Lajeunesse of Feeding Hills and Linda Root (Stephen Root) of Ludlow; his grandchildren, Tonya Alberti (Christopher), Erika Hayslip (David), Aaron Welsh (Rachel), Danielle Welsh-Bernal (Canche), Gregory Lajeunesse (Erin), Adam Lajeunesse (Stephanie), Derek Lajeunesse (Michelle), Dr. Christopher Root (Beata) and Jeremy Root; his great grandchildren, Ethan, Gavin, Connor, Emelia, Zhara, Alexis, Zachary, Sienna, Avery and Peter; and his great great grandchild Scarlet. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, his family requests that memorial donations be made in his memory to the Saint Joan of Arc School, 587 Grattan Street, Chicopee, MA 01020.
