It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Goncalves (Chicopee, Massachusetts), who passed away on March 7, 2026, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Joaquin Pereira; her husband Antonio Goncalves; and her son Adelino Goncalves. She is survived by: her mother Esoura Pereira (Carvalho); her children, Antonio "Tony" Goncalves of Chicopee, Maria Goncalves of Chicopee, Rosa Czerwiecki of Chicopee and Ceu Sutter of Vermont; her siblings, Joaquin Pereira of Portugal, Luisa and Celeste; and her grandchildren, Crystal Williams, Jennifer Edwards, Cody Goncalves, Devon Goncalves and Stephanie Sutter. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
