With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mark Walas (Chicopee, Massachusetts), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 27, 2026 at the age of 70. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard "Ace" Walas and Eileen Chouinard (Breton); and his sister Debra Rock. He is survived by: his significant other Kimberly Haight of Chicopee; his son Matthew Walas (Erika) of Westfield; his stepdaughter Sarah Fisher of Chicopee; his brother Keith Walas (Dianne) of Granby; his stepsiblings, Pamela Cormier (Michael) of Ludlow and Richard Chouinard of California; his grandchildren, Mateo and Amelia; and his stepgrandchildren, Hunter, Trey and Ella.
