He was predeceased by: his parents, Will Smith and Annie Mae Wingfield-Smith; his siblings, Bobby Smith and Deloris Smith; and his grandson Michael T. Wingfield.
He is survived by: his fiancée Doreen Nelson; his children, Michael Tyrone Wingfield, Damin Mullen, Davone Mullen (Laniya), Pumpkins Jackson and Charelle Arrington; his stepsons, Michael Lee Nelson and Lamar Nelson; and his siblings, Willie Smith, Vernon Welch and Shirley Smith Mullen. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren five great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
