He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Alexander, Estelle Gozgit (Liberty), Eugene and Joyce Stefanik (Champagne); and his uncles, Paul Nunez and Kevin Stefanik.
He is survived by: his parents, Craig M. Stefanik of Chicopee and Karen F. Stefanik (Gozgit) of Chicopee; his brother Jacob R. "Jake" Stefanik of Chicopee; and his aunts and uncles, Paul Gozgit (Chris) of Russell, Jim Gozgit (Carole) of Russell, Cheryl Wood (Robin) of Holyoke, Janie Gozgit (Barbara Burger) of Chicopee, Maryann Nunez of Wilbraham, Carol Taliceo (Joe) of Chicopee, Joe Gozgit (Lisa) of Framingham and Karen Matulis (Tim Higgins) of New Hampshire. He is also survived by cousins, numerous friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Pierre-Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels (13 Dale St, Chicopee, MA 01020). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels (13 Dale St, Chicopee, MA 01020). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Sainte Rose de Lima Church (594 Grattan St, Chicopee, MA 01020).
His family requests that memorial donations be made in his memory to the Foundation for TJO Animals, 66 Industry Avenue, Suite 3, Springfield, MA 01104.
