Richard Gelinas Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Gelinas (Chicopee, Massachusetts), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 13, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Gelinas and Alveena Gelinas (Plourde); his parents-in-law, William and Kathryn O'Connor (Walsh); his siblings, Joan Guardione and Bob; his brother-in-law Roger Denault; and his nephew Michael Guardione.
He is survived by: his children, Laurie Rowell (Brian) of Saxtons River, Vermont, Mark Gelinas (Karen) of South Hadley, Susan Makowiecki (Robert) of New Boston, NH, James Gelinas of Belchertown and Stephan Gelinas (Jennifer) of Westport, MA; his grandchildren, Annie, Amanda, Nadine, Ruth, Lauren, Mathew, Taylor, Abigail, Jack, Ellie, Lily and Janey; his great grandchildren, Maddie, Ayla, Beatrice and Eloise; his sister Joyce Denault; and his brothers-in-law, Robert, Bill and Paul O'Connor (Cam). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
