Rita G. (Banville) Michaud Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rita G. (Banville) Michaud of Chicopee, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 3, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thaddée Banville and Irma Banville (Collin); her significant other Albert Michaud; her daughter-in-law Carolyn M. Michaud (Sears); and her siblings, Reginald Banville (Joan), Clarence Banville (Carol) and Marie-Mai Bard (Edgar).
She is survived by: her children, Michael J. Michaud of Old Saybrook, CT, Linda M. Roberts (Arthur) of Chicopee and Brenda L. O'Connor (Brian) of Granby; her grandchildren, Carly Michaud, Kyle Roberts, Daniel Roberts (Miranda), Andrew O'Connor and Audrey O'Connor; her great grandchildren, Bridget Roberts-Barry and Jackson Roberts; and her siblings, Ronald Banville (Nicole) of Granby, Gerald Banville (Lucie) of Chicopee, Robert Banville (Rita) of Chicopee, Claudette Boulay (Guy) of Magog, P. Q. and France Banville of Sainte Catherine, P. Q.. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, numerous friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sainte Rose de Lima Church (594 Grattan St, Chicopee, MA 01020).
