He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Berwaldt and Ruth Berwaldt (Holmes); his brother Charles; and his daughter Karen L. King. He is survived by: his wife Vicki Berwaldt (Long Shortley) of Chicopee; his daughter Jessica Duga (Jeffrey) of Enfield, CT; his grandsons, Jack Duga (Elisabeth), Jacob Duga, Brian King and Andrew King; and his pet Chloe. He is also survived by Puppy, and many cherished cousins and nephews.
The family asks that donations in Robert's memory be made to the Springfield Rescue Mission.
