He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Cournoyer and Marie S. Cournoyer (Deliska Jolivet); his wife Rita T. Cournoyer (McDonnell); his stepson Michael Griffin; and his siblings, Ray, Rita, Claire and Doris.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kimberlee "Kim" Cournoyer of Chicopee and Patricia "Patti" Guay (Dominic) of Westfield. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
