He was predeceased by: his parents, Romeo J. Joyal and Blanche M. Joyal (Giles); and his siblings, James Joyal, Bernard Joyal, Walter Joyal, Marjorie Joyal and Anne West.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy S. Joyal (Spiewak); his daughters, Kathleen Garvey (James) of Springfield and Christine O'Connor of Chicopee; his siblings, Louise Barrett of Belchertown, Lorena Belheumer of Huntington and Samuel Joyal of Belchertown; his grandchildren, Krystal Prendergast, James Garvey, Jr., Meghan Tolley and Ryan O'Connor; and his great grandchildren, Caden and Madyson Prendergast.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Stanislaus School, 534 Front St. Chicopee, MA 01013.
