He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert M. Murphy and Claire F. Provost (Connors); and his brother Kevin Murphy. He is survived by: his children, Christopher Murphy (Dana Langlois) of Springfield and Shanon Murphy (Luke) of Attleboro; his siblings, Wayne Murphy of Florida, Don Provost (Jackie) of Chicopee, Jon Provost of Chicopee, Nancy Condon of Alaska and Valerie Davis of Chicopee; his grandchildren, Aaron, Chase and Stephen Murphy; and his great grandchild Ariel Murphy.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Grise Funeral Home (280 Springfield St, Chicopee, MA 01013).
