It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan A. (Sabourin) Chagnon of Chicopee, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 27, 2026, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Susan's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Susan's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may she find rest in the embrace of eternity.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry A. Sabourin and Alice M. Sabourin (Pelletier). She is survived by: her son Jeffrey J. Chagnon (Jodina Chagnon) of Palm Harbor, FL; and her brothers, Roy W. Sabourin (MaryJane) of South Hadley and Dennis J. Sabourin of Chicopee. She is also survived by extended family members and friends.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Notre Dame Cemetery (63 Lyman St, South Hadley, MA 01075).

In lieu of flowers, her family requests that memorial donations be made in her memory to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 Saint Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
