She was predeceased by: her parents, Pierre Lemelin and Mary Rose Lemelin (Asselin); her husband Francois X. Lacasse; her siblings, Roland, Raymond, Francis Lemelin, Doris Poirer and Cecile Cooney; and her son-in-law Lee Nacewicz.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jeannette Nacewicz of West Springfield and Claire Chase (Camil Boilard) of Canada; her siblings, Richard Lemelin of Granby, Norman Lemelin of Agawam and Jeannette Konopacki of Chicopee; her granddaughters, Celeste Ryan of Connecticut, Angela Johns of Florida, Valarie Bridges of Michigan and Melanie Hickey of Connecticut; and her great grandchildren, Raina, Kane, Raeann, Jack, Allison, Josephine and Eliza. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grise Funeral Home (280 Springfield St, Chicopee, MA 01013). A prayer will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Western Massachusetts, 1325 Springfield St, Ste 12, Feeding Hills, MA 01030.
