He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard C. Dansereau and Helen W. Dansereau (Johnson); his son-in-law Daniel L. Scheehser; his father-in-law Alfred R. Peters; his sisters, Ruth Dansereau and Nancy Fulton; and his brother-in-law William Peters.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Dansereau (Peters); his daughters, Dawn Dansereau Scheehser of Easthampton and Kimberly Dansereau of Chicopee; his grandchildren, Ryan, Mikayla Dansereau, Christopher D. Scheehser, Cara Gardner (Cullen) and Chad Thomas Scheehser; his great grandchildren, Addyson Kimberly Dansereau, Jaxson Ryan Dansereau, Maverick Joseph Worthy and Stone Christopher Gardner; his mother-in-law Theresa V. Peters (Hamel) of Easthampton; his brothers, Richard Dansereau (Jodi) of Seattle, WA and Mark Dansereau (Patricia) of Otis, MA; and his siblings-in-law, Daniel Peters (Cynthia) of Chicopee, Michael Peters (Tracy) of Chicopee, Judith Niziolek (Walter) of Michigan and CherylAnn Czausz (Stanley) of Chicopee. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Pierre-Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels (13 Dale St, Chicopee, MA 01020). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, his family requests that memorial donations be made in his memory to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
