She was predeceased by: her husband Bernardino Rivera, Sr.; her siblings, Reyes Maria Rivera Mendez and Dolores Rivera Mendez; her great grandchild Eli Xavier Mendez; and her parents, Jesus Rivera and Maria Mendez.
She is survived by: her children, Rev. Angel Mendez (Kennia), Luis Mendez (Candice), Bernie Rivera, Jr. (Gloria) and Myrna Matos (Francisco); and her siblings, Rafael Rivera Mendez, Gloria Nilda Rivera Mendez, Carmen Rivera Mendez and Hector Rosario Mendez. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home (176 Water St, Clinton, MA 01510). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Reservoir Pines Cemetery West Boylston.
