She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Ekvall; her daughter Janet Lee; and her sister Nancy Sweeney. She is survived by: her daughter Christine Wheeler; her grandchildren, Nova Taylor-Wheeler, Angela Wheeler, Richard Wheeler III, Adam Wheeler and Sarah Nelson; her great grandchildren, Daniel, Gabriel, Hannah, Lilly, Michael and Bridget; and her brother Stephen Dembroski (Paula). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
