He was predeceased by: his former wife Marilyn Jansons (Labbe); his sisters, Aija Gogan and Liesma Pachulski; and his parents, Alexander Jansons and Elma Jansons (Meikules).
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Richard (Drisdelle); his daughters, Michelle Jansons-Hoey (Brian) and Katherine Jansons Figueira; his stepson Mark Richard; his grandchildren, Alex Mahmutoglu (Kadir), Abygail Hoey (Evan Rouse), Morgan Figueira, Mason Figueira and Kylie Richard; and his great grandchildren, Evren, Pars and Ayla. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and many dear friends.
