He was predeceased by: his siblings, Michael Sawyer, Kevin Sawyer, Maureen Barney and Kathleen Sawyer; and his parents, Henry Sawyer and Rita Sawyer (Garceau).
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Sawyer (Windle); his son Zachary Sawyer; and his caregiver Johnna Sawyer. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home (176 Water St, Clinton, MA 01510).
