He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Neal Mechlin and Joan Boger Mechlin (Bolton). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Hall Mechlin (Pat); his children, Elena (Greg Giovinazzo), David, Ana (Trevor Peltak) and Neil (Heather Bowditch); his grandchildren, Robert, Dominic, Patrick Giovinazzo, Luna, Ayden Mechlin, Elena, Jonathan Peltak and Lillian Mechlin; and his siblings, David Mechlin (Skipwith Coale) and Marcia Mechlin.
