It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen Hanney of Clinton, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 16, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard and Alice Hanney (Gibbons). She is survived by: her sister Ellen Philbin (Edward) of West Boylston; her nephew Edward "Tripp" Philbin (Lynn); her children, David, Daniel, Mikayla, Isabella and Christopher Philbin (Jessica); her grandchild Rory; her daughter Cara Kober (Timothy); her grandchildren, Thomas, Connor and Owen; her son Matthew Philbin (Monica); her grandchild Emmet; her cousin Mary Jane Nuzzetti (Tony); her pet Ollie; Kristen, Kerry and Patrick.
In appreciation for the care provided to Kate in her final days, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Massachusetts General Hospital, 125 Nashua St., Suite 540, Boston, MA 02114.
