She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert J. McCarty and Margaret McCarty (Flynn); her husband John E. "Jackie" Ball; and her siblings, Robert "Sonny Boy" McCarty and Margaret A. Halpin.
She is survived by : her children, Meg Murphy (Jim), Libbie Sweatland (Bob), Justin Ball (Kate) and Kathleen Botelho (Russ); her grandchildren, Maura Sylvester of Cotuit, Kate Solomon (Adam), John (Ashley Sweatland), Dan Sweatland of Greystones, Wicklow, Cailin Ball (Mae Ball), Brian Correia of Boston and Liam Botelho (John Brousseau) of Sunderland; her great grandchildren, Daniel, Lauren Sweatland and John Solomon; and her sister Roberta "Bobbie" O'Brien of Worcester. She is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
