She was predeceased by: her husband Everett J. McCarty, Sr.; and her parents, George Schobert and Minnie Schobert (Sontag). She is survived by: her children, Nancy McCarty (Scott Callaghan), Everett (Deidre McCarty), Catherine Keith (Ron Randazzo), Mary (Jim Alex) and Clare Ouellette (Mark Matott); her grandchildren, Camlyn Ross, Lauren Gosselin, Rory Alex, Kristy Grignon, Dustin Laferriere, Nathaniel Bibaud, Zachary Bibaud and Jamison Bibaud; and her great grandchildren, Colby, Zachary Emerson, Madison Grignon, Kalia, Makena Ross, Andrew, Olivia Alex, Sylvia, Dylan, Julia Murdock, Jackson and Lyla Bibaud. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home (176 Water St, Clinton, MA 01510). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (809 Main St, Lancaster, MA 01523). A burial will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the Eastwood Cemetery (330 Old Common Rd, Lancaster, MA 01523).
