She was predeceased by: her husband Robert E. Assad; her siblings, Heinz Baumgartl, Seppi Baumgartl and Brigitte Herkenrath; and her parents, Josef Baumgartl and Emelie Baumgartl (Zapf).
She is survived by: her daughters, Melinda Jones, Nicole Jones-Greige (Simon) and Heather Kostecki (Ken); and her granddaughters, Lillia, Danielle and Kayleigh. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and many dear friends.
