With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert L. Champagne Jr. of Clinton, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 17, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother John Champagne; his parents, Robert L. Champagne, Sr. and Gertrude Champagne (Pelkey); and his uncle Joseph (Margaret Long). He is survived by: his wife Joan Champagne (Lemire); his children, Debra Goodsell (Michael), Robert Champagne (Jodi), Steven Champagne (Lisa), Richard Champagne (Susan) and Joanie Lamb (Jeff); and his grandchildren, Heather, Michael, Kyle, David, Derek, Bobby, Danny, Matt, Emily, Amanda, Danielle, Samantha and Elisabeth. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; generations of nieces and nephews; and many great friends.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Church (80 Union St, Clinton, MA 01510). A burial was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. John's Cemetery.
