He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Roofe and Nadine Roofe; his brother Jimmy Roofe; and his former life partner Mary Gartland. He is survived by : his wife Jean Roofe (McAvoy); his siblings, Ellen Kuykendall and Thomas Roofe; his children, Patrick Roofe (Melanie), Amanda Franz (Aaron), Christopher Roofe (Katie), Joseph Sparkes and Jennifer Thomas (Jon); and his grandchildren, John, Tommy, Terry Roofe, Emily, Andrew Franz, Asha Sparkes, Maeva and Max Thomas.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Veterans, Inc., 69 Grove St., Worcester, MA 01605, in honor of Bob's lifelong commitment to serving others.
