He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Tinory and Delia Tinory. He is survived by: his siblings, Fred, Eugene and Evelyn; his wife Claire Babcock Tinory of Cohasset; and his children, Claire Cardelle of Cohasset, Lisa Shotwell of Essex, Richard Tinory Jr. of Cohasset and Laurel Pemberton of Osterville. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren, and his great granddaughter.
