He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Mary Mone and William Kerr Mone; his children, Nell, Kerr and Keelin; his wife Rose; his son Gary (Hillary); and his siblings, Robert, Brian, Mary, Sheila, Stephen, Patrick, Ellen and Katherine. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, his family asks that anyone wishing to make contributions in his memory do so to the Boys & Girls Club of Dorchester.
