Velma leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Velma’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Velma will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Barresi; and her child Gia Barresi. She is survived by: her son Paul Barresi (Audrey) of Hanover; her grandsons, Matthew and Joseph Barresi; and her siblings, Augusta Maffei and Richard Amistadi.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony's Church (10 Summer St, Cohasset, MA 02025).
