He is survived by: his significant other Meredith Prime; his former wife Lelia Calder; his brother Bart; his sister-in-law Kathy Calder; his sons, Grant, Wynn and Max Calder; his stepdaughter Alison Wald; his daughters-in-law, Phyllis Dininio and Suzi Morrison; his grandchildren, Sophia, Alexa, John, Roxy and Nadia Calder; and his nieces and nephews, Sue Calder, Kristen Juliani, Bart Calder Jr. and Andy Juliani.

In keeping with Fred's devotion to Lake Placid, contributions in his memory may be made to the Adirondack Community Foundation, Lake Placid, NY.
