She was predeceased by: her spouse Francis C. "Taff" Welch, Jr.; and her father John Linden Aalfs. She is survived by: her mother Joann W. Aalfs of Leeds, MA; her siblings, Mark Aalfs (Bernadette Joolen Aalfs) of Seattle, WA, Tom Aalfs of Cornwall, NY and Janet Aalfs (Janis Totty) of Northampton, MA; her nephews, Homer Aalfs of Seattle, WA and Daniel Aalfs of Binghamton, NY; her stepsons, Sam Welch of Lunenburg, MA and Joshua Welch of Stonington, CT; and her brother-in-law Charles Welch of Cambridge, MA.

Due to restrictions regarding COVID-19, burial was private.
