She was predeceased by : her parents, Mildred Michel and Clement Michel; her husband Dick; her sister Jane Smith Melnick; her nephew Jeffrey Michel; her son Jimmy Tappe (Mary Jane Tappe Hayes); and also Richard Tappe.
She is survived by : her daughter Mary Jane Hayes; her granddaughter Stephanie Hayes Wyman (Steve); her great grandchildren, Bruce and Valerie; her grandsons, Brian Hayes (Christine) and Jimmy Hayes; and her brothers, William Michel and Jeron Michel. She is also survived by fourteen nieces and nephews, countless grand- and great-grand-nieces and nephews, and a circle of friends and caregivers.
