He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Raymond Brown and Theophelia Brown (Parrett); his wife Mary; his siblings, R. Donald Brown, Richard Godwin Brown and Ruth Patricia Brown; and his daughter-in-law Andrea Williams Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Bruce Brown (Judyth Crystal), David Thorpe Brown and Katherine Brown Haworth (John Haworth); and his grandchildren, William Haworth and Samantha Brown. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First Church of Deerfield (71 Old Main St, Deerfield, MA 01342).
In lieu of flowers, Bruce wished that donations be directed to the Franklin Fund of the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts, in his memory.
