He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert D. Lane and Nadene Foster Lane; his grandchildren-in-law, Warner Brothers, Abbot, Costello and Monty Python; his wife Kathleen Lane of Dalton; his children, Christina A. Lane of Adams and Michael E. Lane (Diahann Reyes-Lane) of Sandia Park, NM; his granddaughters, Emily R. Sands of Chicago, IL and Olivia M. Sands of Fremont, CA; and his brothers, Richard K. Lane (Debra) of Shelburne Falls, MA. and Robert Lane.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Dery-Foley Funeral Home (890 Main St, Dalton, MA 01226). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in his name to HospiceCare in the Berkshires, or the National Parks Conservation Association, in care of Dery-Foley Funeral Home, 890 East Main St, Dalton, MA 01226.De.
