With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ermino S. Barbalunga Jr. of Dalton, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 5, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ermino S. Barbalunga Sr. and Filomena Massimiano Barbalunga; his sister Ann Josepha Barbalunga; and his pets, Spartacus and Bruna.
He is survived by: his wife Karyn Cella Barbalunga; his daughters, Kara Barbalunga Keiper (Andrew) of Austin, TX and Juliana Barbalunga Herickhoff (Paul) of State College, PA; his grandchildren, Sophia Juliana Keiper, Anna Filomena Herickhoff, Matthew Andrew Keiper, Benjamin Ermino Herickhoff and Joseph Robert Herickhoff; and his siblings, Alfred A. Barbalunga (Patricia) of Pittsfield, MA and Grace Gannon (James) of Westport, CT. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Donations in his memory may be made to the Berkshire Humane Society, in care of the Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
