It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Glenn J. Mawhinney of Dalton, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 5, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Mawhinney and Dorothy Mawhinney (Hickman); his brother Paul Mawhinney; and his nephew Daniel Mawhinney. He is survived by: his sons, Michael Mawhinney of Adams and Christopher Mawhinney (Amber) of Pittsfield; his brothers, Bob (Susan) and Tom (Laura Sagan); and his granddaughters, Autumn Murray (Thor) and Skylar Mawhinney.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Dery-Foley Funeral Home (890 Main St, Dalton, MA 01226). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ashuelot Cemetery (189 Ashuelot St, Dalton, MA 01226).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Glenn's honor to Soldier On or Shriner's Children's Hospital.
