Mary Katherine Higgins Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Katherine Higgins of Dalton, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 29, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John W. Higgins and Alice P. Herrick Higgins; and her siblings, John, Joseph, Nora, Daniel, James and Elizabeth Higgins.
She is survived by: her siblings, Helen Doyle of Pittsfield, Patricia Westfall (Russell) of North Adams, Alice Slater (Charles) of Tyringham, William Higgins (Joan) of Greenville, SC, Thomas Higgins (Rhodora) of Becket and David Higgins. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in her name to the American Diabetes Association or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in care of the funeral home.
