He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wendell Phillips and Alma Belle Phillips Robbins (Cady); and his siblings, Brian and Audrey Derwin. He is survived by: his wife Joan Phillips (Parrott); his sons, Jason Wendell Phillips (Betsy), Michael Paul Phillips (Megan) and David Alan Phillips (Dawn); his brother Rodney Phillips; and his nephew Joshua. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and a wide circle of extended family.
