We announce the death of Claudette Sawtelle (Danvers, Massachusetts), born in Waterville, Maine, who passed away on July 3, 2026, at the age of 91. Claudette will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Babbie and Isabelle Brooks Babbie; and her siblings, Barbara and Al. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth E. Sawtelle; her children, Stuart, Alan (Terry), Scott (Kristin), Chris (Colleen) and Jeff (Dianne); and her granddaughters, Emily and Sophia. She is also survived by her children, her strength of a mother, sister, aunt, friend and Nanny, the loyalty of a wife.
In lieu of flowers, Dee would appreciate a donation be made to the Malden Public Library.
