It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elisabeth J. Dirks of Danvers, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 11, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Leroy Dirks; her parents, Harold "James" Gillis and Marion Gillis-Newhall (Greene); and her sisters, Barbara Mullins and Carol Tremblay.
She is survived by: her son Bruce Dirks (Nancy) of Chagrin Falls, Ohio; her grandsons, Andrew and James; her great grandchildren, Lillian and Audrey; and her sister Ellen Lefavour of Danvers.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the C. R. Lyons & Sons Funeral Directors (28 Elm St, Danvers, MA 01923). A committal service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the Wadsworth Cemetery (18 Summer St, Danvers, MA 01923).
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Danvers People-to-People Food Pantry, P.O. Box 2076, Danvers, MA 01923. The family greatly appreciates donations made to these charities in Elisabeth J. Dirks 's name.
