He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Robin Bresnahan-Flynn of Danvers; his pets, Annie, Bean and Cocoa; his parents, Ernest Flynn Sr. and Mildred Flynn (Morin); his siblings, Leonard, Maureen, Ronald and Gary; his grandfather William; his friend Shea; his children, Timothy Flynn of Salem, Teresa Shunda of Rochester, NH and Danielle Farina of Gloucester; his grandchildren, Tyler, Erik, Tatum, Peyton, Lexi and Maverick; and his siblings-in-law, Freddie Cwik and Stacey Verrette. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
