She was predeceased by: her parents, Gertrude Golden (Parow) and Hugh Golden. She is survived by: her husband Bill; her daughters, Susan Matthews (Joe) and Kelly Gates (Jim); and her grandchildren, Derek Matthews (Julie), Candice Matthews-LaDine (Adam), Shawn Gates and Ryan Gates.
