With sadness, we share the passing of Inez M. Coombs in Danvers, Massachusetts. Inez, born on February 21, 1944 in Charlestown, New Hampshire, passed away on June 16, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph W. Schofield Sr. and Helda E. Schofield (Page); her son Gordon L. Laber Jr.; her siblings, Daniel Page, Ralph W. Schofield Jr., Clyde W. Schofield and Ruthie Troyer (Schofield); and her former husband Clayton E. Tucker.
She is survived by: her husband William E. Coombs; her children, Ralph D. Laber, Steven J. Laber, Thomas S. Laber, Kaylee J. Roberts (Laber), Rea C. Laber (Faith Hope) and Valerie J. McNeill (Tucker); and her sisters, Jeanie Esh (Schofield), Patricia Bridge (Schofield), Pam Beamon (Schofield) and Eileen McComb (Schofield).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Salem, a cause that held special meaning for Inez.
