Joan M. Benson Obituary

We announce the death of Joan M. Benson of Danvers, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 28, 2026, at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Crowley and Elizabeth Crowley (Doody); and her brothers-in-law, Lee "Chris" Christopherson and Lewis White. She is survived by: her husband Paul F. Benson; her children, Cheryl Benson of Danvers, Paula Andruskiewicz (Joseph "Mike") of Lynn, Kevin Benson (Kimberly) of Danvers and Donna Rougier (George) of Beverly; her grandchildren, Michael Andruskiewicz, Stefani Andruskiewicz (Ethan), Marcus Benson (Jacqueline), Kyle Benson, Kelsey Mihovan (Erik), Melissa Andruskiewicz (Seth), Caitlyn Rougier and Kourtney Benson; her great grandchildren, Lacey, Makenna, Blake, William, Dylan, Henry, Maxwell and Kassian; her sisters, Mary Rita Christopherson and Elizabeth Correia (George); her sister-in-law Mary White; and her friends, Dina, Charlene, Tom, Annette and Bonnie. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the C. R. Lyons & Sons Funeral Directors (28 Elm St, Danvers, MA 01923). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Mary of the Annunciation Church (24 Conant St, Danvers, MA 01923).
