Joan F. Cahee Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan F. Cahee (Danvers, Massachusetts), born in Chester, New Hampshire, who passed away on October 23, 2025 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan F. Cahee to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert A. Cahee; her parents, Charles Downing and Grace Downing (Riley); her siblings, Charles, Paul Downing and Grace MacDonough; and her friend Alfred Todaro.
She is survived by: her son Robert A. Cahee Jr.; her daughter-in-law Tina Yaskell of Bourne; her siblings, Richard Downing, John Downing, Kathryn Ransom, Larry Downing, Stephen Downing and Robert Downing; and her close friends, Stephanie Jones and Darice Yaskell. She is also survived by fifty nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the C. R. Lyons & Sons Funeral Directors (28 Elm St, Danvers, MA 01923). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Mary of the Annunciation Church (24 Conant St, Danvers, MA 01923).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Joan's name to the Alzheimer's Association at https://www.alz.org or to a charity of your choice. The family greatly appreciates donations made to these charities in Joan F. Cahee 's name.
