She was predeceased by: her parents, Antone J. Souza and Louise Souza (Jennings); her husband John L. George; and her sister Nancy Souza of Fall River, Mass.. She is survived by: her children, Julie A. George (Lobsterfest) of Danvers, Nancy L. George (Barry Swindell) of Beverly and Louis J. George (Ellen Dempsey) of Danvers; her grandchildren, Michael Caruso, Anthony Caruso (Samantha), Matthew Swindell and Laura Swindell; her great grandchild Isabella; and her brother James Souza (Carol) of California. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
