It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph A. Guarente of Danvers, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 9, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos Guarente and Elizabeth Cataldo; his sister Vicky Stokes; and his stepson Sammy Roberto. He is survived by: his wife Joan; his stepdaughters, Meghan, Amanda and Hannah Wilkins; his children, Lauren Ingram, Julie Hammond (Scott) and Scott Rae Buono (Martha); his sibling's children, Jill Degnan and Jack Degnan of San Diego; and his grandchildren, Brittany (Nick Burns), Brooke, Bryce Ingram, Jessica (Chad Miller), Scott Buono (Lindsay), Taylor Buono, Shea Lynn (Taylor Tegreeny) and Jordan Hammond. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
