She was predeceased by: her sibling Dean Meltzer; her nephew Max Meltzer; and her parents, Irving Meltzer and Iris Meltzer (Nemeroff). She is survived by: her husband Jeffrey Shapiro; her stepsons, David Shapiro of Middleton and Josh Shapiro of Middleton; her brothers, Barry Meltzer (Maryellen) of West Bridgewater and Jon Meltzer of Dorchester; her sister-in-law Dona Meltzer of Randolph, VT.; and her siblings' children, Leah Meltzer of Tampa, FL, Joseph Meltzer (Addy) of East Lyme, CT and Ben Meltzer (Jackie) of Scarborough, ME.
A committal service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Danvers Cemetery Cemetery. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Chabad of Peabody (682 Lowell St, Peabody, MA 01960).
